My wife and I are off to Cape Code to visit relatives. We will be gone until June 13th, so there will not be much activity on Boat De Jour till I get back. We are planning a sailing day on a Catalina 36 next week, so I should have some new material to write about. This will be our first experience of sailing on the ocean, we are looking forward to that. Keep your fingers crossed for good sailing weather for us! We have been to the Cape once before and had a lot of fun, we took the ferry to Nantucket and did the tour bus thing. Very interesting place. Back then we were not sailors though, so I am curious to see how the place seems now to us that we will be looking around with a different perspective.
We will be staying where the Bass River enters the Atlantic, if I remember correctly there is a marina there, so we can watch all the sailboats go in and out.
Well it is time to pack the car and go, so au revoir for now.
