In researching our new S/V Aurion, an Islander 28, I happened upon this site, www.islander28.com. It has a bunch of useful information concerning this vessel not to mention about a million user submitted photos concerning all aspects of this particular model from Islander Yachts. I particularly found interesting the write up from the designer, Robert Perry. Of course, what also caught my eye is that the home page photo seemed to be a photo of Aurion as sailed by the previous owner and his wife! I confirmed this with him during our closing. So how cool is that! We are now the proud owners of a world famous yacht! I can only hope that we will keep up with Aurion’s high standards.

The website is maintained by Wayne Eastman. The contact information seems to be incorrect on the website as emails get bounced back, so if you are out there Wayne give me a shout.
