We are preparing this morning for our now annual 4th of July sailing celebration. While we have many things to do yet, I have been thinking about the holiday and what it means to me more this year than in years past. I suppose it started while I was out shopping for a flag to display on our sailboat.
I think it is important, especially in these times, to reflect on our country and what it means to us. Displaying the Stars and Stripes helps me to reflect on our potential as a country and hopefully raise the consciousness of others to do the same.
I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable sailing weekend.
Hope everyone had a safe Fourth of July weekend.
