OK, so perhaps “whomps” may be a bit of an overstatement, and yea, the main sail on the Catalina wasn’t exactly in racing trim. And if you are going to be nitpicky, no they didn’t know that they were racing, but they should have, seems we were both going the same way and all. I think we might have been going faster than the powerboat too. I can dream can’t I? Our goal this coming season is to not ever use the zoom, as you can see it does not focus very well. The camera is one of those new Flip Video cameras. Easy to use, but not the best for distance work. Today, it got as high as 31 degrees, so now spring fever is setting in, that and 3 more minutes of sun every day. It’s only a matter of time before Vår Skibet hits the lakes again. Yipee!
